PREVENT OUR DRIVERS FROM COMPETING IN THE BOBSLED

Happy New Year from the feed mill team! We really appreciate your cooperation in the past weeks of holidays and storms. We know you value the effort our guys made to deliver feed despite treacherous roads.

As this hard winter continues, please move the snow around your bulk bins. It's great that you're helping our drivers get into your yards. But they also need room to open and close bins without climbing through the snow. Or slipping. Or falling.

Corn and soybean meal prices came down quite a bit last week with the latest Crop Report. We may be seeing the beginning of a downtrend but let's do a breakeven to determine your cost of production, before making any assumptions.

Having a good handle on your production costs will be worthwhile since cash hog prices have improved and there is room to make money in the next two quarters.
